The Botkin Hospital named after S.P. Botkin is the most powerful multidisciplinary hospital in Moscow and Russia, where more than 100 thousand people undergo treatment annually. In 2017, the hospital was recognized as the best in the capital following the results of the professional competition “Formula of Life” of the Moscow Department of Health.
The hospital was officially opened in 1910, it is one of the oldest clinics in the city. Today at the Botkin Hospital named after S.P. Botkin, you can get all kinds of specialized medical care: from obstetric care to open heart surgery, from robotic interventions in the Da Vinci complex to organ transplantation. Our surgeons perform about 70 thousand operations per year, including the most complex neurosurgical, oncological, urological and ophthalmic interventions. The hospital has five members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 95 professors, 118 doctors of medical sciences and 280 candidates of medical sciences.
From 2013 to 2017, the diagnostic and treatment base at the Botkin Hospital was completely re-equipped. The hospital has 7 computer and 4 magnetic resonance tomographs, modern endoscopic and navigation equipment, angiographs and professional ultrasound equipment.
