The total area of the Simulation Center is over 2000 m2, with the largest complex of highly realistic state-of-the-art simulators with modern software, as well as interactive and medical equipment.
MSC has more than 400 units of simulation and medical equipment.
MSC of Botkin Hospital is managed with high-tech soft- and hardware complex "Learning Space". It helps to control the training load of virtual simulators, robots, individual training clinics (departments), and to monitor the implementation of training tasks. The computerized monitoring system allows you to record the educational process and analyze the actions of both individual specialists and the entire medical team.
The multifunctional innovative virtual complex "Disaster Medicine" is represented by video projection of 4 realistic films on various disasters: "Accident at a nuclear power plant", "Explosion in the city", "Road transport accident" and "Fire in a nightclub". All scenarios resemble to the fullest extent the real reaction of individuals involved in the incidents (panic, injuries, cries for help, bleeding, fainting) so that medical and non-medical professionals can practice the skills of providing first aid in conditions as close to life as possible.
