Anesthesiologists-resuscitators daily provide round-the-clock emergency care and conduct planned anesthetic in 40 operating rooms, equipped with modern anesthetic and respiratory (Drager) and control (Philips) equipment, use modern medical technologies (monitoring the level of sedation and depth of anesthesia, the degree of muscle relaxation with the help of special monitors), methods of maintaining a constant body temperature of the patient, including using a heating matrix and thermal forms of modern medicines and consumables. Particular attention is paid to postoperative analgesia with an emphasis on the use of regional anesthesia and multimodal concept of treatment of postoperative pain syndrome. The Department has 6 doctors, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, 1 nephrologist, 3 transfusiologists and 15 anesthesiologists-resuscitators. Most doctors and nurses have the highest qualification category.

The Department is part of the anesthesiology and resuscitation center of the hospital. At the same time, assistance in the treatment of patients is provided in all areas of modern health care. It is possible to provide assistance in an outpatient setting. Extracorporeal blood purification methods have found application in a wide range of pathologies.
